"This location has an amazing stylist who knows how to do flat-top cuts correctly. My next visit I’m going to see if I can get a box-top cut (flat on three sides with 90* corners)"

"Great haircut for my 12 year old, they are great with kids here, did not have to wait long even though we thought we would have to at first"

"Most experiences are good, cut is good and the girls are nice. However this is now the 2nd time that there has been a clear wait, with multiple people waiting...and some random comes in and goes straight to the back? They don't take appointments, so I am perplexed at this? Also, again, clearly a wait and a different random comes in and states he needs a free neck trim...they took him immediately, while the rest of the customers waited...not too happily I might add!! If you don't take appointments, then regardless of service...should be first come first serve!"

"I was in once. Only Sports Clips I've visited, or will ever visit. The stylist was marginally friendly, but terrible at her job. She informed me that she used to cut women's hair, and that men's were easier...yikes. I told her exactly what to do, and she proceeded to do a terrible job, which she knew, so she just used clippers on my whole head. She shaved my head, and i was charged 20 bucks?! Seriously? No apology, nothing. I would say that this may have been the worst haircut experience of my life, and I've girlfriends cut my hair! If you want a so-so personality, doing a poor job cutting your hair, and overcharging for it, this is the place for you!"

"It's a Sport Clips. Sometimes your hair will be good enough, sometimes it will be ok. Thankfully they don't really ask me if I want a massage anymore, because who wants a massage at the chain haircutting place? I swore off the place for a while because they locked the door in my face one evening when I was trying to get a haircut in a pinch after an evening at work lasted longer than expected. I also went back because I needed a haircut in a pinch and they were one of the only places open, and they did a decent enough job. It's your dice, roll'em."

"Last time I got a haircut here, it was so short and uneven a family member asked if I was doing ok, mentally. It's fine for my 4 yr old son's haircut but I won't go back."

"I recently obtained a new job in the area and since I did not know any local barber yet and was in dire need of a haircut I decided to give Sportsclips a try. Now if you're a guy who doesn't know what they want in a haircut, go to the barbershop because your wife/girlfriend/mom tells you, and the only thing you can muster is "take a little bit off the top", then this barbershop is for you. The stylist treat you nice, give you a nice minty hair shampoo, and generally recommend some nice products. But if your like me and you know what you want in a haircut (especially if you like fades) than this place isn't for you. I went it there, asked the nice lady for a "#2 on top, #1 on the sides, taper the bottom and line it up". A very typical cut. Well they knew how to do the fade but the stylist didn't have a taper gaurd or razors to do a proper lining. Big letdown."

"I found a coupon in our local mailer for 5 dollars for a haircut here. You can't go wrong there. Overall, though, I got a pretty average experience I wouldn't pay full price for. It's funny, for a place that costs so much more than say, a Great Clips, they actually offer a lot less. Unless you want to pay more than 20 bucks for the completely pointless towel and massager, you're not getting anything for the money but your hair getting pretty quickly cut. There wasn't a lot of care taken, just buzz buzz, clip clip. They don't even have the thinning shears there, which just seems odd, so my hair feels much thicker than usual, which doesn't feel great in the summer. And it seems like a nit-pick, but they didn't use talcum powder on my neck afterwards, which left it feeling chafed on uncomfortable. These are little things that even the discount places make a point of offering, so I'm just really confused why Sports Clips wouldn't. The woman who cut my hair was friendly enough, which is nice, she just didn't seem to care too much about the details."
